I'm an avid amateur genealogist. I've found that I had a great-great-great-grandfather named Joshua Buck and I'm trying to trace his ancestry. This particular Joshua Buck appears in the 1830 and 1840 census of Gloucester Co., NJ, but sometime after 1844 Joshua disappeared and only his wife, Elizabeth, and their six children appear in the 1850 census of Gloucester Co., NJ. The youngest two of Josh and Elizabeth's children, William and Wilhemina, turn up in Allegan Co., MI, in 1860 but the rest of the family apparently disappeared off the face of the earth after 1850. Any of you Joshua Bucks out there know anything about this family? JEFF

I don’t think that is too ambitious. It’s kind of cool to see what commonalities you may or may not have with people with the same name. Or even seeing where they came from and what their heritage is. Cool you got your own domain. I hope you figure out what to do with it! I think finding other Josh Buck’s is a cool idea…just my two cents worth though.
