I was born in Baltimore County and currently live in the District of Columbia. I received my bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, in theatre from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and my master of arts in theatre history from the University of Maryland, College Park. During my time in academia, I had several articles published in various academic and trade journals, and taught "Introduction to Theatre."
I currently work in the Office of Communications at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, where I am a a Public Affairs Officer.
Before coming to NASA, I was in graduate school where I worked in the National Scholarships Office. As a Graduate Assistant, I helped students apply for and win prestigious national scholarships. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, photography, and crossword puzzles.
